“Consider the birds”
Beneath the shelter of outstreched branches, the birds gather—
not in striving, nor in fear, but in quiet trust.
They do not toil for tomorrow, nor burden themseves with the weight of lack.
The wind feeds their song, the earth offers its abundance,
and the heavens remain faithful above them.
“Consider the birds of the air…”
they remind us softly, how they neither sow nor store away,
yet are sustained by the hand of the creator.
And if suce care is given to creatures carried on the breath of the sky,
how much more precious are we—
called to dwell together, to trust without fear,
and to builld our lives within the shalter of divine love.
